Website Purpose: This website is to help keep parents informed of rehearsals, performances, and all other information for all of the different instrumental and choral ensembles at Northridge Middle and High School.

Northridge Bands
Our Band Director: Mr. Alexander Healey
Mr. Healey graduated from Northridge in 2017 and participated in all the different instrumental ensembles that were offered. He also was a member of Vocalise and was a member when Mrs. Hepp first started.
After Mr. Healey graduated from Northridge he went to Ohio University to study Music Education. He participated in the Marching 110 and performed all over the country with various different ensembles.
Mr. Healey is thrilled to be back home at Northridge and is excited to see where the program is headed next!
Our Choir Director: Ms. Michelle Chilton
Ms. Michelle Chilton graduated from Texas Christian University in 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education. While at TCU, she was a part of the Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Marching Band, Color Guard, and New Music Choir. She taught middle school band for seven years in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, just outside of Houston, Texas. In 2021, she gave birth to her son, Thomas.
Outside of school, Ms. Chilton also taught private music lessons (having 2 students qualify for All-State ensembles) and was a part of her church's music ensemble.
Ms. Chilton has music to thank for participating in extraordinary opportunities which include marching in the 2011 Rose Bowl Parade and 2011 Super Bowl Pregame Show, performing in Bueno Aires, Argentina, and conducting in the Chigaco Symphony Center.
Ms. Chilton is excited to join the Northridge family and looks forward to watching the music programs reach new heights this year.
